Benefits of Video Games
People have different views regarding video games and their children. Many believe that children are exposed violence when they play video games. They see no real benefit to the children that play them. However, these days, parents and educators are seeing the advantages brought about by video games, whether they are on consoles or on the computer. There are studies that show a marked improvement on the hand-eye coordination of children who play video games. Several games need fast coordination skill because they have specific button sequences and in game actions. A survey was conducted on a site geared toward parents. The parents that responded to the survey, 75% reported that their children had improved hand-eye coordination because of video game use.
